About KV

KV Saharsa was opened in the academic session 1996-97 under civil sector. It has the honour of being the first C.B.S.E affiliated school in the district Saharsa.The school is running in old Kacheri jail campus in a temporary building.It was inaugurated by the Chief Minister Mr Lalu Prasad on 1-03-1996 in presence of other distinguished academicians and respectable citizens of Saharsa.
STATUS: The K.V Saharsa is fortunate to have its chairman Shri Kaushal Kumar IAS, DM Saharsa.This centre of excellance is functioning in own building situated just opposit to the patel maidan Saharsa hinderance to its academic objectives and it will be shifted from old temporary building campus in july 2013. The academic excellence has been maintained at par with other Kendriya Vidyalayas .In the premises, a beautiful garden and lawn has been developed by the Vidyalaya administration. The Vidyalaya is marching ahead in academic as well as extra-curricular activities under dynamic and able leadership of the present Principal, Smt. Monika Pandey.
